What stays on your device, what is sent when you contact OnSubmit and how optional audience measurement works.
Who is responsible
The OnSubmit operator is responsible for the limited processing described here. For privacy requests, write to contact@onsubmit.io.
Tools and files
Current catalog tools process text and files directly in your browser.
A tool that requires external processing must state this before data is sent.
Browser preferences
Theme, clock, market, timezone, favorite and recent-tool preferences may be stored in this browser. They are not sent to OnSubmit.
Email contact
When you send an email, OnSubmit uses your email address, message and any details you include only to process and answer your request. Sending takes place through your own email service, whose privacy policy also applies.
OnSubmit’s retention policy limits exchanges to the time they remain useful, with a maximum of 12 months after the last useful reply. The operator manages deletion in the email service.
Audience measurement
Audience measurement can be enabled when a measurement endpoint is configured for the site build. It sends page visits, tool interactions and technical performance events.
Measurement excludes search text, message content, files and tool inputs. It uses neither an analytics cookie nor a persistent visitor identifier.
Hosting and email services
Cloudflare hosts and delivers the static website. It processes connection data, including your IP address and technical request information, to deliver and protect the service. This is separate from the tool inputs processed locally in your browser.
Cloudflare forwards contact emails to the operator’s email service, provided by Google (Gmail), which receives and stores the messages. Their respective policies explain data processing and security. Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States.
Contact messages
OnSubmit does not store tool inputs. If you have sent a contact message, you can email contact@onsubmit.io to request access to, correction or deletion of that exchange.
